We’re obsessed with squeezing every last drop out of everything.
We’re obsessed with ‘fulfilling our potential’, with ‘maximizing every opportunity’, with ‘getting the most for our buck’.
We’re obsessed with seeing more, doing more, having more, knowing more.
We’re afraid to ‘miss out’, afraid to fail, afraid to ‘not measure up’.
We don’t even question it. More is better. Faster is better. That’s pretty self-explanatory, right?
But why? Whatever happened to the concept of enough?
